Suzanne Rodriguez (Suzie to her friends) is the author of three non-fiction books and hundreds of articles. Her favorite getaway ever was a solid month in Bora Bora, most of which she spent beneath the water. A close second: bareboating for a couple of weeks through the West Indies. Her favorite city is San Francisco, where she has walked or cycled the waterfront from bridge to bridge (and beyond) a couple of hundred times. Suzanne’s writing covers numerous topics, but she really loves to focus on food, wine, and travel. Go figure!
Laurie McAndish King is an award-winning travel writer and photographer, as well as publisher of Travel Writers News, a free online newsletter for people interested in travel and photography. In 2010 she won first place in Smithsonian magazine’s international photography contest. Laurie has chased lemurs in Madagascar, tracked lions (on foot, and without a gun) in Botswana, and trapped raptors in the Marin Headlands … but her favorite haunts are in San Francisco.
