Fun and inexpensive, Off the Grid is a great way to spend at least part of a Friday night–it’s at Fort Mason Center and features more than two dozen food vendors and food trucks. It runs from 5 to 10 p.m., and there’s almost always live music starting around 6 p.m. And after dinner you can walk along the water…

This week we welcome Off the Grid’s new vendors: Kasa Indian Truck, Nom Nom, and Sanguchon!

  • Kasa Indian Truck will be serving up homestyle Indian food, a mobile version of the original Kasa Indian Restaurant.
  • Nom Nom hails originally from Los Angeles and will bringing fresh banh mi and tacos.
  • Sanguchon, the Peruvian sandwich truck from Potrero Hill, will dish up reimagined Peruvian fusion cuisine.

Speaking of what’s new at Fort Mason Center, Off the Grid’s regular vendors have some scintillating specials, dreamt up just for you!

  • Azalina’s Malaysian with corn fritters in tumeric + lemongrass and coriander peanut sauce
  • Brass*Knuckle with chocolate brownies topped with crispy strips of bacon & ganache AND crispy pepperoni rolls oozing with melted cheese
  • El Porteno with empanadas de fugazzeta: shaved onions, aged cheddar & a touch of oregano
  • Iz It?! Fresh Grill with screaming surf scampi + garlic rice
  • Little Green Cyclo with duck confit fresh spring rolls AND truffle oil garlic noodles AND shaken beef
  • Onigilly with crab salad onigillys and eel onigillys
  • Pica Pica with green plantain baskets + varied fillings (shredded beef, pulled pork, chicken salad with avocado)
  • Masubi Kings with smoked pulled pork & cilantro dressing musubis
  • Sanguchon with pork shoulder braised in panca, peppers-beer sauce & smashed sweet potato
  • Senor Sisig with salty mango ice cream
  • The Taco Guys with braised osso bucco tacos with star anise & brussel sprout chips
